Her 1st Birthday Party

We of course threw A her first birthday.  I did everything Tiny Themed.  Luckily they do a lot now tiny!  We had mini waters, mini hamburgers, mini pasta salad, mini bags of chips, mini goodie bags with mini goodies inside, mini cupcakes and mini fruit salad.  I didn't get pics of it all, which always saddens me after, but oh well I just wanted to enjoy the party with my family and our dearest friends!  The party was a big success, we all had a blast and hung out will it was far too dark to see anything.  The kids and adults had fun just talking and running around.  Thank goodness for the tramp to keep the kids entertained!

Brady was trying to look handsome like daddy before the party and went and got his daddy's hair stuff and put a little too much on!

Joc gave add her first experience of cheetos and she was in Heaven.  Addi now is Joc's best friend.

We did the party on Joc's real birthday so she needed a cake and some singing too!

 

Neither one of my kiddos have ever been interested in their cake.  She took a few small bites and just wanted back to her bag of Cheetos and she was a happy girl!!!

Seriously, words cannot express how much I love these wonderful ladies...they are truly amazing!

Summer Days

So I'm three months behind on my blog.  I know, I know...I suck.  Even my journal entries are few and far between and then I never finish because it's during naptime and then I forget.  Sad how it goes the more kids you have, the less time you have!  

So here I go, catching up one day at a time.  From sometime in June...Love days off with James.  When we can go with friends kayaking and to splashpads and have lunch all at the same park!

2nd Year Easter Brunch (4.11.10)

We did A 2nd year Easter Brunch.  Thanks Lookharts for hosting it!  It was a lot of fun and there was tons of yummy food to eat!  It's fun having so many LDS dental students at school with us.

Saturday Night BBQ (4.10.12)

all within 6 weeks of each other.  Love that Mollie has her arms around Addison and Hayden!

Can I just say how much I love our ward.  We do a lot together, a lot on a regular basis.  We decided to BBQ  and do a little Easter egg hunt.  Ya know, cause kids can never have too much candy!  We brought our kayak and james and dads took turns taking all the kids on rides around the lake.  You know something else I love?  Kentucky's amazing parks!  Seriously, there are some fabulous parks all over Kentucky...and they are all gorgeous!  Anyways, it was a great Saturday night with friends!

Buddies

There are grandparents that live behind us. They are the cutest people! Always offering to take our kids, always holding and doting over Addison. Well they babysit their grandkids a couple times a week and now that brady has a trampoline they go back and forth from yard to yard playing with all the toys.

James and Dave are doing dodgeball with the kids, they are loving it!

It's so nice having so many kids in the neighborhood Brady's age to play with (mainly all boys). He can just walk over to whoever's house and ask them to play. Am I old enough for that to be happening? Geeze!

BBQ with friends

3.17.12

We were invited to a BBQ at the Terraces with a bunch of the dental families who live out there. Of course there was volleyball, lots of it with many wives who kicked butt! Brady loves being with all the other kids and running amuck and of course I love getting to be social and outta the house! Looking forward to millions more of these between now and September!
