If I had a girl

I would order this fabric and make her a blanket. I am not a hibiscus flower type person. I lived in hawaii and think they are pretty, but on fabric and such, I think they are ugly. I am trying to put together a surf room for Brady and have found a certain fabric with surf boards, retro and the old woody cars...it's fabulous. Anyways I came upon this as well and am in love. It reminds me of the PCC so much. I might just have to buy it and make myself a blanket instead!

Farwell BBQ and illegal BonFire

Some of the Group
They could be twins...semi...just the bald heads and total chubbiness!
The rest of the group
Angie and Mike playing duets...they were amazing

James and Nate having picture taking wars
I love Miha...she reminds me of one of my best friends Monica
James teaching Jacob at a young age how to be a man and BBQ
James teaching Ella how to make smores
the "Men" making a large fire. They "found" wood all around TVA and a place to put it all

It was a fun last BBQ with the Bagley family. We will miss them terribly when they leave. We just played music, talked, did smores and everything else. It was a lot of fun!

Iosepa Cup Winners!

The Relief Society started out with a Hawaiian song and dance
Our Table Starting out with Rus and Kristy Southwick
James and I
Kim and Nate
Brooke and Adam (we had a very fun table)
Our ward Rocks at sports. This is the first year they have made a big deal of Intermurals and doing an Iosepa cup. It is for overall participation and sports one. Intermurals here is by wards, not just by teams you put together which I love because you get to know your ward sooo well and have so much fun either participating in the sports or being fans on the sidelines. So here are pictures of the Banquet.

Why Our Ward Rocks - Thanks Miha

I will miss this ward when we have to leave eventually. It has been the best ward. Well both our wards here have been seriously the best wards ever! There will never be another ward like our BYUH 14th ward!

James thinks Adventurous, Erin thinks not

Walking back...i kept thinking I was going to slip off the rocks and dirt
tons of dead crabs...obviously that is a sign that it was a bad idea
the hike. click on it to see the trail we took. it doesn't look like anything but i got scraped up really well on my legs and arms.
you can't see it but trust me my fingers were all scraped up and raw and killing me from clinging to rocks for dear life. seriously my fingers hurt for days after!
James palm is bleeding. I fell into the water and screamed and james turned to my rescue. What a man to bleed in helping me!
It is not a hike I want to do again.

FREE ICE CREAM!

Its free right now at Foodland. Well the mini Hagan Dazs is. But this is one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE flavors. Along with Rasberry or Mango Sorbet! Yummy! We stocked up with 8 of them!

Softball Championship...Of course we Won

James and Ella Watching the game together. Her and him are so cute together always!
Watching the game
Team Photo...we kicked butt
Me in right field doing nothing
Me hitting...lets just say that I'm a better hitter than I am a catcher!
Our lucky fan Jacob. You rub his head for Luck!
James did fabulous
waiting for the game to start!
We won the 4 games so we won the championship. It was a lot of fun actually. Probably cause I didn't have to do very much and make the team lose or get yelled at! But at least this time I get a shirt because I actually played, not because there were extras and my hubby played! Our Team rocks in intramural sports...probably because some people on our team are sports nazis!

Cafe Rio Party

Our friends put together a huge Cafe Rio party at the Mansion. It was sooo good! Not quite the same, but close enough. Who knew they had a mexican food store in Hawaii!
Some of the group
Some more of the group and more pics to come of the rest of the group! It was such a fun night and a great chance to make new friends!

Thank You Prince Kuhio

James bodysurfing at Keiki beach. You can see his hand and head.
My favorite sand ever with the big shells. I will take a huge bag of this home with me for a jar!
Getting some sun...me getting more than him as usual!
eating asai bowls. Soo amazing!
the gorgeous clear water. Can you believe it? You could totally see the rocks and the fish.
Spending time with Kaitlin and Mike at the beach and getting asai bowls
So the guys wanted to go in some tunnels at sharks cove. The water was pretty crazy and Kaitlin and I were yelling at them telling them not to go in the tunnels cause we could hear the crashing of the water in some of the tunnels and it looked dangerous! So while they were trying to get back out sets kept coming and taking them out! So for a few moments they were clinging to that rock for dear life while the waves came. Then finally between they were scrambling up. It was pretty hillarious!

Thank goodness for wednesday off for a Prince Kuhio Holiday

Our First Ward Baptism

Our Primary Presidency! I love these girls!
William getting ready to be baptized. How cool that it's in the ocean!
Waiting with his buddies.
After the baptism. some of our primary congratulating him! It was an awesome

Softball Season game 1

BYUH is getting huge into intermurals, but it is by ward. Well James wanted me to join him in sports so he signed me up to play softball with him. He must have not realized when I said that I have only danced and swam, there was a reason for that! So here was our first game. Of course It shows I'm not in any of the pictures! I told Leah next time to get a ton of me so that we can prove that I played. I played right field so I didn't have to do anything (THANK GOODNESS) but I was pretty good when I hit the ball! Yay for me! All those years playing whiffle ball and the batting cages are to thank for that. So here are some pics of the game. We played 3 games and won 2 but the one we lost wasn't a real game. So I guess you could say we won 3! Our ward is full of athletic people...I'm not one of them.
Can you tell it's a married family ward with three strollers in a row! Half of our team is inside along with the fans. It was raining.

Look at Mary Go! Don't worry a few days before the guys took Jana, Mary and I out to practice our hitting and catching to make sure we didn't mess it up for our team!

Look at Kim go! Yes, our girls are pretty good!

So hillarious. There was a fly ball and james went for it. But as you can see behind him is a huge mud pile. Well he slipped and ate it and got so muddy as you can see. It's pretty bad on the front of his shirt too. Of course he didn't want to look at me. He is like a little kid when it comes to pictures!
