10 Months

• Wears 6-12 month clothes and some 12-18 month stuff, depending on company
• In size 3 diapers still
• Size 2 shoes still, but moving up to 3's almost
• She has 7 teeth but the past few days has been onery, drooling profusely, fevers on and off; so I'm guessing that more teeth are coming in soon.
• We had to put her bed all the way down since she stands up and likes to lean over really far!
• She is standing on everything and likes to use her walker.  She will even stand for a few seconds sometimes
• She knows how to climb stairs
• She is a talker!!!  She says "Hi" "oh wow" "woah" and for more says "mo", and when something is yummy she says "ummmm". 
• She blows kisses, waves hi and bye, gives high fives
• On Patty cakes does all actions now including "roll it"
• She prefers daddy over mommy
• Loves to dance, really gets into it
• Follows Brady wherever he goes
• Refuses anything that reselmbles baby food.  Is starting to become uninterested even in drinking from a bottle
• Loves sippy cups and drinking out of a straw.  We are working on the regular cup thing.  I guess that is what happens when you have an older sibling.  You just want to do what they are doing.
• She likes to make a huge mess of EVERYTHING and pull everything down and throw it all over.
• When we say no to you, you like to shake your head no really fast and laugh.  When we tell Brady no you do the same thing to him.
• She is big into pointing at everything you see and then we tell you what it is and you try to say it.
• She loves the zoo and seeing all the animals.  Brady had a toy elephant that she loves and can make her version of the elephant noise which is just blowing out a low humm.
• She throws her paci out of her bed so someone will come in.  She does the same with her sippy when eating since she knows that Brady will always pick it up for her.
• She loves the water.  She charges into the pool.  In the bathtub she gets on her belly and puts her head under water and comes up laughing and tries to blow bubbles too.
• She just had her first temper tantrum.  I told her no and she threw her head back onto the floor and just cried and screamed.  Is this is what is to come in the future?  Shoot me.

9 Months

• you are a kissaholic, especially with brother still!
• you are a dancer.  you sway, bounce and do this circular thing and clap to the music.  no matter where we are, if you hear music you are super into it!
• you are a talker.  you jabber jabber jabber and do it loudly
• any sound we make you can imitate perfectly
• you lick your lips when you want to drink out of our cup
• you do "so big"
• you hide for peek a boo whether it's under a blanket or behind a piece of furniture
• you are CRAWLING! and into EVERYTHING :(  you like to go around the house and find non toys to play with.  I am having to sweep and vaccum every day like crazy to make sure there is nothing on the floor you can put in your mouth
• you know where your tongue is
• you love standing and can almost fully pull yourself up
• you say hi and for bye you just make the B sound
• you love balls and Brady's cars that drive themselves
• you love to swim.  you don't mind being dunked and when you are in the tub you purposely get on your belly and put your face under.  you love to splash and just want to be on your own at the pool.  you crawl through splash pads and don't mind water in your face.
• you are starting to be ok when i toss you into the air
• you follow brady everywhere and if he shuts a door you sit outside the door waiting for him and start to whine
• you still take bottles, love sippy cups of water and really only want to eat real food you can feed yourself.  you are almost over baby food and that kills me.
• you have 7 teeth and your 8th is on it's way which has made you a cranky girl the past few days. The 7th just popped through and we had no idea, you were super happy with that one.  

8 Months

Isn't she just the cutest thing ever!  James hates when I leave slobber on her face, but that is her stage lately (and forever, my kids are like bull dogs) and I love it!  She loves to be super cheesy and likes to show off all of her 6 teeth!  She's gunna have big teeth like her daddy I think.  What you are up to this month:

• 6 teeth
• planking like crazy.  you have the strongest arms and abs and can hold yourself up forever.  you hate being on your knees though.  I don't blame you with the carpet we have.
• you eat everything.  there hasn't been anything that we give you that you say no to.  You have 4 bottles a day and 3 meals with real food a day too.  You eat your big dinner and then you want some of what we are having.  You are a pig!
• You could stay in the bath all day.  You love to lay down on your tummy and splash and put your face in the water.  You are already quite the fish!
• You start clapping when you want to play patti-cake and when I am about to say "throw it in the oven" you get so excited and giggly and then throw your hands in the air
• You love love love to play peek a boo and when I say hide you either burrow or throw a blanket over your head till I ask where you are and you show your face and laugh!
• Your wave for bye bye and hi are different.  For hi you wave side to side and for bye bye you open and close your hand.
• You still are in size 3 diapers, but they are starting to get snug.  You wear 6-12 month clothes but a lot of the pants are getting to be cropped pants and you are starting to need 12-18 month tops or else your belly hangs out.
• Your favorite toy is anything your brother is playing with.  You love all of his toys and none of your own.
• Lately you go to bed between 7 and 7:30 and have been waking up between 9-10am.  You take two 2-3 hour naps during the day.
• You think you are so funny.  You love to throw your hands and head down while making a "shh" sound and then start laughing.  You'll do it over and over and just laugh and laugh at yourself.
• You love looking in a mirror at yourself
• you love babies still.  you get so excited to see your little friends at church and just want to grab them and kiss them and talk loudly to them.
• you only kiss daddy and brady.
• You don't like being thrown in the air and spun in a circle.  But you love going high in the swing at the park and hanging upside down.
• When daddy comes home or even just in the room you freak out with excitement.  when he leaves the room right after he gets home from school you cry.  You definitely prefer him to me.  And you think Brady is the funniest person around.  He makes you laugh the hardest.
• You say mama, dada, and baba for bottle and lala and shhh.  you are definitely a babbler and I love it!
• You cluck your tongue
• you are obsessed with your bunny and it goes EVERYWHERE with us.  You use that and your paci to go to sleep and cuddle up on your side.  It's so sweet!

7 Months

Where is the time going?  Where has my baby gone?

-  You are a grabber.  You like to grab everything you can!

-  You have your two teeth on bottom, and then two teeth on top in.  But it's a middle tooth and side and that is a little White trash.  Those other two are right there, almost in...hopefully soon since the top two that came in were horrible for me (it was obviously horrible for you!)

-  You have gotten up on your knees 2x but then just lay back down.  Sometimes you are on your hands and then tippy toes doing those crazy ab moves.  But you really have no interest in crawling, but you find other ways to get around and you seem ok with that.

-  You eat anything and everything.  You will eat your two jars of food, then you want some of our food.  So far there is nothing that you will spit out.  You eat food 3x a day, and then other snacks when you see other people eating and start growling.

-  You still nurse, but I'm kinda over it and so we only do it right when you wake up and right when you go to bed.

-  You go to bed between 6:30-7:30 and wake up between 7:30/8:30.  You take 2, 2-3 hour naps a day.  Sometimes you take a 3rd if I let you and it's about 45 min.  I'm glad you love your sleep as much as your brother does!

-  You say mama and now say dada when you see him.  You love to talk and you love to sing if we have the music loud in the car.

-  You are a dancer too and wiggle back and forth.

-  You shake your head no and think it's so funny.

-  You love giving big slobbery kisses.  Especially to yourself in the mirror and to your brother who LOVES them!

-  You love when we pat your mouth and you get to sound like an indian.  You could do that forever!

-  you lift your arms when you want to be held

-  You love your daddy and brother the most.

-  You only allow Auntie Katie to snuggle you and rock you to sleep other than her you just want to be put in your crib and fall asleep on your own.

-    you love to have your teeth brushed.

-  you wear size 3 diapers and are in your 6-12 month clothes

-  You love peek-a-boo and put the blanket on your head and then rip it off after we say "where is addison".  Brady loves to play that with you and take turns.  You guys just sit there giggling together forever.  It's the sweetest sound.

-  you are such a happy happy baby and the only time you are crabby is when you are starving or want to sleep.  It's wonderful and makes my life so easy!

I just want to constantly eat you up!  You are delicious!!!

6 Months

I can't believe how fast time flies little girl!!! You seem to have grown up so much so fast!!!

This is what you are up to these days:

• you are now sitting up fully with nothing that can bring you down
• you are rolling EVERYWHERE! you never stay on your back anymore
• you are pulling your legs under you and putting your butt into the air trying to figure out how to crawl
• you grab everything and anything in your sight, you are the most curious little thing
• it's hard to feed you because you are so interested in everything else around you
• you have just got over your issue with the texture of pureed food and now eat it all. There is nothing that you wont eat, even if you make a grossed out face each time the spoon goes in your mouth, you still want more
• Your favorite treat is graham crackers, you could just eat those all day
• you are now sleeping till 5:45, eat really quick and sleep till 9/9:30am.
• you talk talk talk all the time.
• The more your brother wrestle's you, throws pillows at you or tortures you, the more you like it! You laugh so hard with him and don't pay any attention to anyone else when he is around
• Daddy heard you in your room this morning saying "maaamaaa" over and over again, that made my heart swell with joy!
• you are in a size 3 diaper (probably should have done that awhile ago!)
• you wear 6-12 month clothes
• you want to drink out of our drinks, but aren't that great at it.
• you love holding your bottle and just rollling around the floor while eating
• you love when we throw you in the air or run around with you
• you cling to your bunny and paci at naptime
• you are teething again since you trying biting everything
• you love splashing in the water and when you take a bath with your brother and he soaks you, you always laugh

once again another happy baby. You are definitely 10x louder than your brother ever was, but we just think anything and everything you do is adorable!

Addison: 5 months

• your bottom 2 teeth are in. You had two days of fussiness and you would only take a bottle and you woke up 2 times in the middle of the night, but then it was over. Those little nubs are so cute!
• you love to hold your feet
• you will forever have a bald spot on the back of your head. i always contemplate shaving your head because its so obvious with your dark hair
  
• you have now started eating rice cereal w/sweet potatoes & apples and those gerber rice puffs. I knew you were ready when on 2. 7. 12 you would smack your lips together while the rest of us were eating. That is how you let me know you want another bite. You have also had bananas, puree cantelope, pears, applesauce (you dont like it), but you love munching on apple slices and waffles. You want to try everything we eat.
  
• you wake up at 7:30 take 3 naps during the day 9:15 am for 50 min 12pm for 2.5 hours and then 4ish for 2.5 hours and then you go to bed at 7:30pm, wake up at 3:30 for a feeding and then the cycle continues
• You still sleep with your bunny and softie blanket
• You love talking with people or just listening to yourself talk and love to laugh.

• you can scoot yourself anywhere to get to your toys. you always are somewhere totally different on the floor from where I left you.
• if on your back you can pull yourself up to a 30 degree angle...you have some strong stomach muscles under that fat layer I love
• you love when I sing to you and will just sit and listen and smile
• if we are all in the car and all talking, you have to join in, but not only join in but talk the loudest
• you love bedtime with Brady because that means reading books. You love to sit and look at the pictures
• you hold your own bottle
• If someone blows raspberries at you, you always blow them back, same with sticking out the tongue.
  
• you still LOVE to snuggle anytime, it makes your dad and I so happy!
• you can sometimes sit up by yourself, but if you lean to far left you always fall over
• you love standing and when I will hold your hands and let you stand you try to take steps
• you mainly love the toys that make music
• you can pick up your paci and put it in your mouth
• you roll stomach to back and now back to stomach, but of course sometimes your arm gets stuck under you.

A, we just love you incredibly!!! You are growing up a little to fast for our likes! Here is what is going on with you these days:

• you were doing 12 hours, then we went on vacation and you were up every 3-4 hours to fully eat. It's taken a week of just letting you do your own thing and you have gone back to 12 hours (I LOVE YOU!). You still take 3-4 naps a day and do this weird thing where you sleep for 45 min and then wake up, cry for about 3 min and then fall back asleep for another hour. It's so weird!
• You have all of a sudden decided you don't like taking a bottle and you aren't a fan of formula or frozen breastmilk. I hope you decide you like it again because I have a whole freezer full!
• You grab at everything!!! you roll to your sides to find toys, you know how to get things on your excersaucer and play pad. You love my hair and take out fists fulls of it since it's still falling out like I have some crazy disease!
• Daddy can always make you laugh, ALWAYS and TONS! Brady making really weird noises to you makes you laugh at him and me making you dance while you stand is what makes you laugh with me.
• you are now into the standing phase where you lock your legs and I can't get you to sit.
• you talk tons and squeal with joy so loudly, even when you are just hanging out by yourself
• you LOVE attention! When strangers come to look at you, you always smile start blowing raspberries and proceed to talk to them (might be a problem around 2!)
• you love splashing and kicking in the bathtub. Another fish obviously. Especially when you have the whole thing to yourself
• you roll over from belly to back anytime I put you on your tummy these days, but can hold your head so high when you are on your tummy!
• you wear size 2 diapers and fit perfectly in 3-6 month clothes...I'm pretty sure you will be out of them next month.
• you are a HUGE snuggle bug. If someone held you while you slept you probably would never wake up (like the 6 hour flight to SLC).
• You are such a happy and easy going baby!!!

3 Months

She has been talking a TON!!! She started laughing at 10 weeks. What caused it was Brady rolling monster trucks all over her and laughing. I try everything, and I'm not nearly as funny. I don't get it! She is sleeping 12 hours a night and is only awake for 1 hour and 15 min before she is ready for a 2 hour nap! She wakes up after 45 min of her nap and freaks out for a min then falls back asleep. She is the happiest baby ever and the only time she ever cries is when she is hungry or ready for a nap. Which makes is nice that I never have to guess what is wrong. She is getting good at tummy time and is really good at holding her head up. She has started tucking her knees under her trying to pull herself up. I always hear her talking to herself in the mornings so loudly and laughing. She is addicted to her blankie and loves her paci. When she is ready to sleep you have to give her both and then cradle her and pat her bum, that puts her to sleep in 2.5 seconds. She is started to teeth and is a drooling machine, looks like she will have teeth fast just like her brother. She loves to suck on her hands. She weighs 13.6 pounds, has gained exactly 5 pounds in 3 months. Love this little girl!

She is up every 3 hours to eat. She goes from 10pm-2/3am, that is her longest stretch and I love it!

She has been sleeping in her own bed since we got home from the hospital, in her own room.

I barely have to rock her to sleep now, sometimes I can lay her in bed awake and she will doze off.

She is smiling a ton and starting to coo

The only time she has ever cried is if we are at the 3 hour mark for eating and I'm taking to long.

She isn't a pacifier baby unless she is starving, but barely will keep it in her mouth.

once again, an easy baby...thank goodness!!!

We had some major issues with latching correctly and a hospital scare due to it. Thank goodness for Lactation specialist to help out! Now things are going great and it's easy peasy. We are makin so much milk that our freezer is full of extra in cases, which make it nice to leave her home sometimes with someone and they can feed her.!

2 Years Young

My Baby is no longer a Baby!!!

He does tons of animal sounds and they are hilarious

He loves playing with his Choo Choo's (trains), cars and now Buzz Lightyear

When he wakes up in the morning the first thing he asks for is "DADDY!!!"

He loves to wrestle and to do punching (only on james)

He is getting better everyday on his tricycle, especially now seeing his dad ride his bike

We think he is the funniest little person ever, and we know he is the cutest little man FOR SURE! Gosh I love this kid more and more everyday!

23 Months

- Even when it's only 25 degrees outside, he still wants to spend all his time there!
- Lately with so many vacations with lots of adults he is using way more words! I am no longer worried about his talking... some of the words include: birthday, hamburger, dinosaur, bridge, orange, crackers, bear
- Stubborn as all get out, but I love that your little personality is shining more each day
- Still sleep 13 hours and nap 3 (i never want this to change)..and all of a sudden you always wake up talking and playing in your crib instead of crying and hang out there for awhile longer so I can snooze...I LOVE YOU
- Love when daddy spin tosses you, and throws you while your doing a flip, being swung upside down and other crazy things...the more dangerous, the more you love it
- Obsessed with cars...OBSESSED
- Second favorite is anything Toy Story
- You love using your pockets and always have your hands in them
- You have two laughs, both are hilarious. One is high pitched and the other one sounds like the chef from Little Mermaid.
- You are REALLY good at catch, but love more to go up to people and bounce balls off their heads (i guess we are a bad example)
- If you don't want to eat something you pretend you are praying or store the food in your mouth FOREVER
- You love to play hide and seek, but suck at hiding because the whole time you whisper "hide" while wiggling and giggling
- You like to pick out shoes to wear each day, its usually your duck boots or your dinosaur vans
- Trains have become a recent obsession and you say "choo choo" which sounds like the "S" word most of the time!
- You love helping me cook, carry things or help your dad do anything he is doing. Afterward you clap for yourself since you always love to be so proud of yourself
- Now you like to show me your muscles while growling
- You love playing with your animals and you make your lion maul all the others...obviously too much national geo!
- Now you sleep with a laughing dog (thanks grandma), a bunny from your dads childhood and your bear, plus your blanket...that bed is getting very crammed
