Babies are expensive! I knew that when we started buying baby car seats, big kid car seats, stroller, bed, clothes every few months cause he is always growing out of something...thank goodness for Targets cheap cheap clothes! Anyways. So Brady's temp finally broke last night. But I sat thinking as I snuggled my little guy (cause that is the only way he has been sleeping since he is sick...being snuggled). Wow, you cost a fortune
this past week! So to document this for him so he remembers down the road how much I sacrificed for him...
First doctors visit $10 co pay
The Meds that were prescribed $10
The new body wash, detergent, soy formula, humidifier and everything else we were told to change in his room $120
The Second doctors visit $10
The Visit to the ER $125 (ya his temp got up to 103.2 - poor child, pics to come of this event)
The meds prescribed $20
The other meds he needed $30
When you get older, don't say I didn't give you anything ;)
Oh, plus all the times these past 6 days where I had tons and tons of snot all over all my t-shirts...seriously this just adds to the list of how glamorous being a mom is!
But out of it I got,to watch Brady crawl three steps forward
learn to pull up on almost everything and go across the couch, to the tables...he is going to be destructive
snuggle a ton, seriously a ton...and he never lets me snuggle
so I guess that $325 was totally worth it ;)
oh, but we did learn this weekend that me disciplining Brady doesn't work. James would be firm with him when he was getting into stuff and Brady would take awhile and think about doing it again, but would just turn around and do something else. When I would do the same thing...Brady would look over at me, smile really big and then keep doing it! But, when he would smile like he does, i just melted and had to turn away to laugh because it was so dang cute!
Oh and my Attention:I am practicing my photography. So I am wondering if there are any families who want pictures taken for fun and for free! Let me know if anyone is interested!!!!
